    Chris has over 20 years of experience driving digitally-enabled businesses, building strategic partnerships and communities, and strengthening the capacity of local and global organizations. His approach to digital is grounded in applying a rigorous and data-backed approach to business growth and sustainability. He has written and won over $20M in proposals from global donors, including USAID, USIP, US Department of State, The World Bank, and Facebook. In parallel, he has staffed and coordinated teams for the integrated delivery of technology-enabled projects and business lines, including online events to hybrid learning. He has edited and contributed to dozens of publications, playbooks, and toolkits, as well as articles in NYT and SSIR. Chris holds an MA from Georgetown University in Democracy and Governance.

  • Gratiana Fu

    Data Scientist

    Gratiana Fu is a Data Scientist with focused expertise managing and using global health data, natural language processing, and geospatial analysis. Most recently, as a member of DAI's Center for Digital Acceleration, she supported efforts to collect, manage, analyze, and use high quality data to inform decision-making for donor-funded projects around the globe. Gratiana also spearheaded research into the ethical use of artificial intelligence in international development while at DAI and has written and spoken extensively on the topic. Prior to her work at DAI, she was a Global Health Corps Fellow based in Rwanda where she led digital health initiatives that improved healthcare access and quality for post-operative cardiac patients. She is also a volunteer member of the Racial Equity Index Working Group.

  • Greg Maly

    Chief Technology Officer

    Greg Maly specializes in leveraging data science and technology to enhance decision-making and address challenges at the intersection of national security, economics, and business. With a proven track record of designing and managing complex data systems, he excels at translating organizational needs into actionable technical solutions. His professional journey includes directing data science and product development initiatives at DAI Global, driving data-driven conflict analysis and spatial research at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations, and developing data integration tools for health and governance programs globally. Greg has also contributed to the advancement of geospatial data analysis and machine learning applications, fostering collaboration between government, private, and academic sectors.

  • Miranda Walls

    Data Product Manager

    Miranda Walls is a Data Product Manager at Exchange.Design. Her expertise in technical project management and digital development supporting clients in achieving their digital goals. When curating a solution, she takes a system-lead approach ensuring her recommendations address not only the problem a client might be trying to solve but also provide efficiencies.

    Prior to joining Exchange.Design she worked in a variety of roles including as a scrum master and release train engineer, project and portfolio manager, and product manager. In these roles she managed software development teams in the finance and international development industries driving the delivery of data analytics, web and software development products.

  • Rachel Beck

    Lead Program Manager, Business Intelligence

    Rachel’s expertise is in the design, implementation, and management of business intelligence systems and products. Her talent lies in pinpointing client needs and delivering solutions that surpass expectations. Recently, Rachel showcased her technological acumen by crafting a bespoke data management platform that converts user data into actionable business insights, bridging crucial data gaps and bolstering CARE’s $200M+ global financial inclusion initiative. Rachel’s prior experiences include assembling and directing teams tasked with collecting, managing, and analyzing data to inform humanitarian and development programs on a global scale. Her leadership in strategic planning and KPI standardization with both CARE and Mercy Corps has demonstrated her sharp focus on detail and her skills in aligning insights with overarching business goals. Holding master’s degrees in data science from The American College of Greece and public administration from the Middlebury Institute alongside certifications in SAS and project management, Rachel is a dedicated leader that adeptly harnesses the power of data, advanced analytics, and innovative technologies to drive transformative impact.

  • Trevor Olexy

    Software Developer

    ​With over 10 years of experience, Trevor’s eclectic professional background encompasses technology, electro-mechanical engineering, GIS, software development, data analytics, and musical performance. At Exchange Design, he manages software development and technical platform services both internally and for external clients.  Prior to joining Exchange Design, he led software development and GIS efforts in the Center for Digital Acceleration at DAI Global, worked to advance the quantitative methodology in conflict analytics at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations, maintained complex automatic train control systems for a major public transit organization, and performed spatial analysis in conjunction with near-real-time remote sensing of deforestation in the Peruvian Amazon. He holds a master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Maryland: College Park.
